Roses are Red

Rose is a woody perennial of the genus Rosa, within the family Rosaceae. There are over 100 species. They form a group of plants that can be erect shrubs, climbing or trailing with stems that are often armed with sharp prickles. Flowers vary in size and shape and are usually large and showy, in colours ranging from white through yellows and reds. (wikipedia.org)

When you say flower the 1st thing that come to our mind is roses, it is highly popular in every country and likes by children to adult, it is amazing how a single rose will represnt love to someone, and of course we love roses not to wilt and just preserve it beauty forever!

Rose Facts 

~ We usually call the sharp spikes on the stem of a rose bush "thorns". But these are in fact technically prickles.

~ The name "Rose" is often used as a girl's name in English speaking countries.

~ For hundreds of years the rose has been widely recognized as a symbol of love, sympathy or sorrow.

~ The rose can come in all colors although a "black rose" is not actually black it is usually a dark red. 

~ Traditionally England is signified by the rose, it is the country’s national flower. The rose came to prominence there during the 'Wars of the Roses', 1455 to 1485 when the house of Lancaster was represented by the red rose and fought against the house of York which was represented by the white rose.
